  • All CKMP packages are booked online. Your booking is not confirmed until a completed registration form, waiver, and full payment are received from each guest or member in the group.
  • At the time of booking, you must complete a registration form, electronic waiver and make a payment of either 50% or 100% of the booking price, plus applicable taxes.
  • Payment plans are available for all bookings made prior to August 1. For any bookings received after September 1, the trip must be paid in full at time of booking.
  • All payments are processed in Canadian dollars (CAD). CKMP accepts Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit, prepaid credit cards, bank transfers, checks, and email money transfers. Taxes will be applied to each booking and are not included in any listed package prices.

Cancellation Policy

Once you have made any payment your reservation has been confirmed, significant expenses are incurred and long-term commitments are made on your behalf. For this reason, we do not offer refunds if you are forced to cancel your reservation anytime after September 1, unless Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance is purchased.

Carl Kuster Mountain Park reserves the right to cancel your reservation at any time, in part or in whole, for any reason, including inclement weather, operational emergencies, acts of God, terrorism or threats of terrorisms as pertained by government warning, or pandemics (including travel bans). If this occurs, we will give you the opportunity to reschedule your trip for a future date, or, if you are unable to reschedule, we will issue a full refund.

CKMP will not provide you with a refund or compensation for any expenses or costs outside of your booking package, i.e., airfare, car rentals, fuel, meals, accommodations, etc.

We understand that occasionally things come up that prevent our guests from joining us. If a cancellation is necessary for any reason, it should be made in writing and confirmed in writing by email to kayla@carlkuster.com email. For peace of mind we strongly encourage you to purchase CKMP Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance to protect yourself from unforeseen circumstances.

Refund Policy

All payments made after September 1 are non-refundable unless Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance was purchased at the time of booking.

If you need to cancel for any reason prior to September 1, your options are:

  1. CKMP will hold any money paid as a credit for you only for a future booking at CKMP within the following season.
  2. We return any payments made minus a 15% cancellation fee.
  3. Transfer the package and payments to any guest of your choosing.

  • If the cancellation falls within 16 to 45 days from your scheduled arrival date, half the money will be returned, and the other half will be held in your name for a future booking.
  • If you cancel your trip 60 days or more prior to your trip we will refund you 100% of any money paid.
  • If you are injured at CKMP and are unable to snowmobile on any of your scheduled ride days CKMP will credit your account $450 for each day missed. This credit may only be used towards a future booking. No compensation will be given if you are not hurt and choose not to ride for any other reason, i.e., out of shape, family emergency, snow conditions, sickness, etc.
  • Money held is not transferable to another individual.
  • Future trip allocation amounts expire 2 years from the date cancellation is confirmed.

Guest Responsibility

  • Guests are responsible for familiarizing themselves with CKMP Terms and Conditions before booking their package. It is also the guests’ responsibility to fully understand their package – what is included, and what is not included.
  • For guests traveling from outside Canada a Valid Passport and/or Travel Visa is required to enter Canada. Refunds will not be given to guests that are denied admission into Canada.
  • Guests are responsible for being on time and prepared to snowmobile on their specified trip day(s). Arriving late or ill equipped may result in a guest missing their riding day(s) in part or in whole. Refunds will not be given to guests that arrive late or are ill equipped, including those who have purchased Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance.

Ability

Although previous mountain snowmobiling experience is not mandatory, CKMP recommends that all guests have some type of mechanized sport experience. Snowmobiling is a demanding physical activity and it is recommended that guests assess their own fitness level well in advance and prepare themselves accordingly. While we try our best to group snowmobilers by ability level, this is based on each individual’s perception of their own abilities.  Until we have ridden with each guest, it is impossible to assess a guest’s true ability.  While we can accommodate a variety of skills and abilities, we put guests in groups of 12 max to ensure that everyone rides at the same level as we ride with a 1 guide to 6 guest ratio.

Minor Guest Policy

  • Guests under the age of 19 are only allowed if they are booked with one parent or legal guardian accompanying them throughout the day
  • The minor must be 16 years old or older when snowmobiling and have the physical ability to do these activities.
  • Waivers must be signed on site, prior to going snowmobiling or dirt biking by their legal guardian and minor. A rental agreement for the snowmobile must also be signed by both.
  • Only the parent or legal guardian can accompany the minor throughout the day and sign the waiver on behalf of the minor guest. This responsibility cannot be shared, nor can a different guardian be appointed for the day.
  • If the legal guardian needs to stop snowmobiling/dirt biking at any time of the day due to fitness, equipment failure, or ability, the minor guest cannot continue snowmobiling/dirt biking.
