Every year on the second Saturday in February, also recognized as International Snowmobile Day, Sled Sicamous hosts its annual Ladies Ride Event. This fundraising event organized and sponsored by Carl Kuster Mountain Park and Bombardier Recreational Products invites female riders to Owlhead mountain to sled the snowy trails, wide open terrain, and to socialize.
Forty to seventy ladies are split into groups based on skill set and spend the day riding and learning new techniques from CKMP guides. A hot lunch is provided mid day for all the participants, and offered by donation to anyone who happens to be sledding in the area. For tickets or more information email ladiesride@carlkuster.com
