Born from a love of the mountains, Carl Kuster Mountain Park (CKMP) was founded with the intention of sharing world-class winter adventures where everyone feels welcome.
CKMP has a deep reverence for the land and the people who have long called these mountains home. We have a passion for the preservation of the backcountry and advocate for responsible and respectful motorized land use.
CKMP’s goal is to create a world class experience in a welcoming environment, built on an unwavering pursuit for professional excellence as leaders within the backcountry guiding community while pushing innovation within the sport of snowmobiling.

With a welcoming and inclusive environment, CKMP fosters a sense of camaraderie among snowmobilers, creating lasting memories and lifelong friendships.
Carl’s passion for snowmobiles began in the CC Cycle family motorsports dealership. Carl grew up to become a four-time X-Games medalist, racing snowmobiles for ten years—seven of those years with Blair Morgan Racing. After retiring from professional racing, Carl founded Carl Kuster Mountain Park (CKMP), the leading backcountry snowmobile operation in North America.
CKMP guides are part of the Canadian Motorized Backcountry Guiding Association (CMBGA) The industry standard for skillsets, procedures and avalanche training for motorized backcountry guides.
If you align with CKMP’s vision and values and are interested in joining the team or presenting a collaborative project, we’d love to hear from you.
